Current progress and achievements

The Saudi Green Initiative has reached significant milestones across key areas:

  • Connected 6.2 GW of renewable energy to the grid
  • Launched 20 GW of new projects in 2023
  • 44.2 GW currently under development

Environmental protection:

  • Planted more than 100 million trees
  • Rehabilitated 118,000 hectares of degraded land
